Competitors at the US Freeskiing Nationals woke up to another 5 inches of snow at Snowbird following a weather delay which canceled the second day of the North American qualifiers on Tuesday. Competitors lined up on top of Silver Fox to begin the first day of competition. The women managed to charge their runs before the snow and fog delayed the men for the better part of the day. At the end of the day the unofficial word put Ingrid Backstrom, world tour leader, in front after one run. Only 5 men managed to get their runs in before the visibility crapped out.
