March 18, 2005 – Whistler, BC – The dates of the World Snowboarding
Invitational have been changed to accommodate overwhelming demand for the
qualifying rounds. Both the World Snowboarding Invitational and World Skiing
Invitational were initially set to run simultaneously, April 12-16. More
event dates were added to meet the demand, and to maximize course conditions
in the terrain park and superpipe. The World Snowboarding Invitational will
now kick-off the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival celebrations, April
8-10. The World Skiing Invitational will run April 13-16. Qualifying fields
are full and remain closed.
