"Red is still the region's best value for year-round activities for both
outdoor adventurists and the leisure traveler," said Heather Reimer,
director of sales and marketing at Red. "Our pre-season pass sale really has
something for everyone. It's the perfect opportunity for guests to make Red
their home base this year, starting this summer."

The "Early Bird" rates for Red's 2005-06 winter season passes available now
through Apr. 30, 2005, have been set at $589 CDN ($482 U.S.) for adults 19
to 64, $399 ($326 U.S.) for teens 13 to 18, $329 ($270 U.S.) for seniors 65
to 74, and $269 ($220 U.S.) for juniors seven to 12. A flat-rate $16
administration fee will be charged to guests six and under and seniors over

winter-pass packages for families and college students, starting at $219
($179 U.S.) and $499 ($409 U.S.), respectively, as well as season-pass
insurance, lockers, and other options.

Beginning May 1 through Oct. 1, 2005, Red will make available its
"Pre-Season" passes for skiers and riders planning to visit Red throughout
the winter months. These value-added 2005-06 season passes are priced
approximately $100 CDN higher than "Early Bird" passes, and are available
for purchase by both individuals and families.

For the first time, Red is offering access to a new system of trails created
this spring specifically for hikers and mountain-bikers of all skill levels.
The trails are serviced by the Silverlode chair, which ascends the lower
reaches of Red's Granite Mountain. Summer passes at Red start at $199 CDN
(about $165 U.S.) for adults age 13 to 64, and are available for juniors (12
and under), seniors (65 to 74) and families. Special discounts are available
to guests who also purchase a winter season pass at Red. More information on
Red's summer hours is available at www.redresort.com.
