While the rest of the province enjoys warm spring weather, Sunshine Village continues to have an abundance of snow. “We are so lucky to be located on the Continental Divide, and to be the highest elevated resort in Canada,” smiled Mike Moynihan, Manger of Sales and Media. “It is a winning combination for fantastic conditions right until closing day on May 22.”

With plenty of great skiing and riding on all three mountain areas, and beautiful sunny days in the forecast, there are a multitude of reasons to make the trip to Sunshine Village. Five of them are part of the traditional spring concert series, headlining a different act every weekend until season end.

April 22 & 23 – Default. Hit single "Wasting My Time,” plus Juno Award for “Best New Rock Group”

April 29 & 30 - Aaron Pritchett. Canadian Country Music Award for “Independent Male Artist”

May 6 & 7 – George Canyon. Juno Award winner, “Country Recording of the Year”

May 13 & 14 – New Moon. “That 70’s weekend” celebration at Sunshine Village

May 20, 21, & 22 – BC/DC, tribute band. “Slush Cup Beach Party” weekend

All performances begin in the Village at 1:30 p.m., with the exception of BC/DC starting at 12:30 p.m. on closing day. The concerts are FREE to anyone with a lift ticket, gondola only ticket or season pass.

Thanks to all the great snow, and tons of wonderful events every weekend, Sunshine Village is an ideal choice for a memorable spring-time experience.
