With snow starting to fly at the higher elevations, the stoke was high for The Thursday night World premiere of MSP’s PUSH. Just to give the crowd a taste of the Alpine, Whistler opened up the Roundhouse to a packed audience for MSP’s 2006 flick. From the start it was a full on party.

Stash This

We piled onto the gondola and made the 30minute journey up to the top. The higher up we got, the more the mixture of blood vs. O2 and alcohol seemed to change. Finally we rolled off the Gondie and straight into the first ski party of the year.

It was great to see familiar faces and the stoke was through the roof by the time the flick kicked off. PUSH was definitely highlighted by MSP’s cinematography. Highlights included the Bushfield, Hjorleifson, Rubens and Douglas as the Canadian bred shredders seemed to make the movie. As per usual McConkey provided yet another epic segment proving that he’s still one of the best in the sport.

After a quick recovery from PUSH, it was on to PULL. Essentially the athletes cut of the film, I enjoyed this one a tonne. Highlights were Bushfields segment – he throws down sick lines and sick tricks. Hjorleifson had an epic, alongside Chris Rubens. Mike Douglas continues to prove year after year that he’s the man. Other highlights were of course Ingrid Backstrom and Sara Burkes seggies. Check out the
