What makes you passionate about skiing?

Everyone has a different way of being them self and expressing them self. For an artist it may be through a paint brush, for a poet it’s writing. For me it’s skiing. I don’t know why I was made that way.

What are your aspirations in skiing?

For this season, ski everyday, work hard with photographers and videographers, compete and spend a lot of time on my sled.

Who are your current role models or who inspires you?
Probably Brendan Mclean, he’s one of smoothest and controlled skiers to watch. And has a true humble attitude.

What is your greatest personal achievement in the mountains?
Meeting Robin Scrimger and Brandon Peterson in real life.

How have you dedicated your life to the mountains and adventure?

Moved to Golden, cashed in my education plan, bought a trailer, and started dating a Treadway.

Why have you dedicated your life to mountain pursuits?

I kind of closed any other doors while I was in high school, by skipping class to ski.

What are some things the mountains have taught you that have
proven valuable in the real world?

The mountains have taught me a lot about control. No matter what precautions you take there is always a factor that is bigger than you or me. Life has proven to be the same. You never can know what is going to come at you, all you can do is trust God.

How will the scholarship enable you to further pursue your skiing aspirations?

This is another great way to get my name out there and hopefully pay some gas for my sled.

How can you be a Biglines.com ambassador?

By kicking ass in the name of Biglines…I don’t know. Biglines is a sweet website and I would promote it anyway I could.
