Due to the requests in the forum for a poll that judges
who is the best freerider in the Rocky Mountains, and the need to pick a new Biglines Freeride Scholarship recipient for 02/03, we have decided to combine the two and pick the winner in September at the Mountain Madness party.
The nominations for the scholarship will cease at midnight on Friday, March 15/02. After this time, Biglines will compile a poll* that will allow you, the veiwers, to show us who you think is the best recipient for the scholarship.
Based on these results,
Biglines will then invite 6 individuals to a showdown at the Mountain Madness party in September, where each rider will be given 8 minutes to convince us all that they deserve the scholarship. The presenations can/should include photographs, video, and whatever else it takes to get people stoked on your program.
A pre-selected judging pannel will determine who the winner is based on certain criteria: crowd noise will be a category but not the only factor.
