The girls kicked off, chasing down Leah Evans in the lead. Martha burley had a strong run in the final stomping a solid cliff on her teles to lead the girls into a super final.

The men simply threw down. Colin Puskas skied arguably the line of the day, down a super tech spine to stomp. Caleb Mullen high scored the day, however, with big drops and technical billy-goats through the schnarby rocks.

Rob Meaney and Wes Harris represented Rossingnol proudly, hucking massive back flips off of a 50ft cliff. There were plenty of bails too, as the wheat sorted itself from the Chaff and left Mike Hopkins still on top going into the Super final, but with Athan Merrick, Brett Crabtree and CJ Wright hot on his heels.

The Super Final kicked off with third place in the womens Sonja Lercher skiing a solid line to finish with a good cliff. Leah Evans was skiing to win and chose an aggressive line, but couldn’t keep her skis on. Martha picked her way through a technical line and did enough to ensure she claimed top spot.

The mens Super Final shuffled the cards and the guys that wanted to win threw down. Brett Crabtree skied a technical cliff band into a smooth rock ride to jump into contention. CJ Wright had the home crowd support and sent “Red Line”, a 40ft exposed cliff, to challenge Mike Hopkins to play ball. Hopkins fell and left the title open for the judges to decide and in the final wash-up, CJ Wright claimed the title and a gigantic bottle of Jack Daniels as a reward for jacking it up all week.

All that is left now is to bragg and dispose of the Jack Daniels. An amazing day of big mountain skiing under blue skies on an awesome venue.
