Lipstick Films announces their debut film, “Since We Last Spoke,” and gives us a look at the upcoming film with a trailer, released today at www.lipstick-films.com. While an entirely Telemark ski film is not new to the action-sports scene, the way that Josh Madsen and Cody Smith envision the sport gives a fresh perspective on where Telemark skiing is headed. This fast-paced, action-packed movie will get any snow goer excited to see the first flakes of the season fall.
Since We Last Spoke Teaser “What made the filming of this movie a success was the dedication of up-and-coming Freeheel athletes that Lipstick had the pleasure of working with,” says Madsen. “They are athletes that are doing things out there that have never been captured on film before; they are the poster children for the New Freeheel movement.” Lipstick’s snapshot of the season brings together the ideas of old and new; it is a conglomeration of the best footage from the 2006 – 2007 ski season.
The film will premiere in Salt Lake City September 28, 2007, and that will begin the infusion of Lipstick Films in the United States. The Lipstick crew is spreading the excitement the New Freeheel Culture by showing the movie throughout the West, New England, and Midwest, with dates scheduled in Europe as well.
