The last day of the WSSF went off huge. Whistler-Blackcomb saw another perfect bluebird day and was host to an incredible line of competitors for both the Superpipe and Orage Big Air. The Superpipe was won by local Alberta hero Jordan Monk who edged out Candide Thovex for the $10,000 prize. David Crichton won the Super Hit contest for the best single hit in the Superpipe for five grand.
The Orage big Air also went down in style. To welcome the 4/20 of the year was a performance by Ozomotli to heat up the competition. There was over 10,000 people for the event and it was unreal. Chris Turpin was edged out by Tanner Hall in a surprising decision by the judges. Chris stomped something sick, like a switch 7 and landed switch. Keep your eyes on Chris to go off, he freaking goes HUGE.
