Lynsey is an eccentric shredder with a drive for perfection. Whether in her skiing or her art, Lynsey leaves a line of color in all her endeavors. As Vice President of a new nonprofit organization called SheJumps as well as one of the only female skiers to ever stomp a 60 foot cliff, she represents a new level of involvement in the ski industry and beyond.

So, what's with all the Y's in your name?

Parents got creative I guess.

I know you grew up racing, was there any particular special moment when you knew that big mountain skiing was where it's at for you?

My cousin AJ Cargill (first woman to freeheel the Grand) had been trying to talk me into it for years and finally she just showed up and kidnapped me from college and took me to Red Mountain. From there the rest is history.

You've been filming with TGR a lot this season. Can we expect a pretty sweet segment from you this year or what?

I wish I could claim the sickest segment ever but as always, I'm pretty stoked just to make the movie.

Tell me a little bit about the projects you have lined up for the next year.

I think SheJumps will be collaborating with Expedition Kirkwood to have a summer women's camp in South America this coming fall, other than that we'll be starting an annual super top secret Ski Naked girls day out in June, to raise some $$$ and also raiase the girl stoke-a meter! Send Shejumps an email if you want in ladies! (info@shejumps.org)

How do you warm up before you ski lines? Does it remain more of a mental task closer to mid-season when you are ASD (all systems dialed) or do you perform tantric chants?

I just try to make sure I'm warmed up by hiking;, skiing lines cold has never worked. But often just looking at lines gets the adrenaline pumping. If the juice is running I always seem more confident.

What's the first chairlift that pops into your mind when I say really, really cold?

Sublet in Jackson when it's windy.

OK, youve got 15 seconds in an elevator to tell me where you came up with the idea for SheJumps and what its all about:

Vannessa Pierce (good friend and incredible writer) and I were on a roadtrip to Whistler for a week at Camp of Champs. We had been talking for hours about our dream lives and somewhere between the mountains of Montana and one of the lakes outside Cour dAlne, this idea hit us! It was inspired by both of our best experiences from leading soccer teams to learning backflips into mountain lakes. As Oprah would say it was an A-Ha! moment.

OK: the money question that you ask everyone on SheJumps; now its my turn: What great thing would you dare to accomplish if you knew you could not fail?

I would stomp my Lincoln loops off 50 footers, I would get to do things I love every day with my best friends, I would create a place/community so full of positive potential energy, just saying the name would give you wings. Oh and Id be making 6 figures by Christmas.

Scariest moment so far this year?

Cant remember

Thats probably for the best. What about the best moment so far this year?

Hitting an air here in Jackson Ive been looking at for years, its a 60 footer called Fat Bastard and it was SICK!

I know that art has always been a big part of your life and that this year you got the opportunity to design some organic t-shirts for Rossignolhow can someone get their hands on them?

Theyll be coming out in the fall, guess you might have to ask your local shop that carries Rossi

Whats the story behind the design?

This is one of the three that is coming out on Ts and hoodies, its about being way out there all alone, scoping something just for me just cause it looks fun.

Do you find that skiing takes time away from your artwork, or do you manage to find time to do both?

I have to pull all nighters when I want to get some art done but around 3am I usually come up with something Im stoked on.

Do you still get butterflies in your stomach before the first day of the season?

Acutally I have never gotten butterflies around that time.

Where do you envision yourself in five years?

On a white sandy beach being catered to by cabana boys! Actually, I don't know, that's a lifetime away! Im still working on what I'm doing next month.

In what areas has your skiing really progressed in the last year? Any specific things that you are working on?

I've been working on learning to control my speed on steep technical stuff and my tricks but I'm not claiming 'til I stomp them!

Any shout outs?

Good interview Claire! To the SheJumps girls and the ski sorority, you kick ass! Thanks Rossi for helping me do what I love. Carpooooool! Peace.
