Long time no chat, sorry chief,
Too busy skiing pow, corn, too many cold beers, too many pictures, too big of line ups for email that was no longer free, excuses excuses...... Truly sorry. Hope that the party was a big success.
So the trip of a lifetime is coming to an end. In Buenos Airies now for two days then its on to the next chapter consisting of beaches and beers in Rio.
Let me start by saying that Las Lenas is the real fu%&ing deal. When it is on, it is unstoppable, when the wind comes for a visit........ it sucks. After skiing pow for thousands of vert for 6 days straight, that is exactly what happened. The wind came in a fury and changed the mountain in a day, so that it looked like a completely different snow year. No more clean take offs, no more pow. Both fortunately and unfortunately, Bryce, Hugo and myself were the only ones lucky enough to be there for the goods. The rest of the clan arrived the day after the wind raped the place. Over the next few days we cruised everywhere possible both inside and outside the area. Checked all aspects but still could find nothing to compare to the spoils that we had earlier. The sun came out and stayed for the next two weeks, turning almost everything into the sickest corn possible. The quarterpipe was getting sessioned by Mike D, and the handrail fifteen feet over the river got owned by Chris Collins. It was time for other things, all of which were mind blowing. I love that place and am looking forward to hanging out there for a month again next year. But we cant let too many people in on the secret, cause even now when you ride up the Marte chair, the only people you see skiing the goods, are your friends. We need to keep it that way.
Gotta go, the beach is calling. Lets do this! Ciao!
