The contest will consist of four events, divided by two disciplines.
There will be jib sessions for both snowskating, and snowboarding,
and a snowskate boardercross, and then the highlight of the weekend,
the snowboard triple air.

The snowskate rails will be smaller than the average rail; but
lets remember they aren't strapped in. The snowskate boardercross
park, will consist of some smaller berms located near the lower
section of the Showtime Terrain Park.

The triple air will test the rider's consistency, as they jump
to impress the judges (again I'm one of them). The rail session
will include most of the more technical rails in the Showtime park,
and maybe even a surprise rail.

For added entertainment, and even enough incentive alone to go,
are the two bands that are playing. Calgary's own Mico, headed by
Jonny Stewart, will be playing on Sunday. Donnybrooke will be teaming
up with Mico, as they each play at the Kokanee Kabin and then that
Sunday night at Wild Bills for a full set. So let's drink a bunch
of cold one's up at the lake, cheer these kids on, and even wish
me a happy birthday on the 26th.
