The Pro photographer showdown went down Thursday night in front of a sold out audience. The crowd was buzzing with excitement, everyone knew the art we were witnessing was among the best in the world. The show started with Art Brewer who has made over 600 covers in his long career. His show mainly featured surfing and the ocean, and was full of perfect postcard photos. A pillar of the action sports community, it was truly a privilege to view his work. Second up was Mattias Fredrickson out of Sweden, who mainly featured amazing ski photography. With images from all over, and of the best athletes on earth, his show was awesome. Jon Humphries went third, and put out the winning show. He focused primarily on skateboarding, and said he has only really been into photography for 9 years. Last up was Sterling Lorence, winner of the search, and showman extraordinaire. He put on the same show as the search and it was even better the second time around.
It was an amazing event, thanks to everyone who helped make it happen, can't wait till next year!
