Details of the World Skiing Invitational such as featured disciplines, prize
money and competition formats will be announced following extensive athlete
and industry Œdesign team¹ meetings to take place later this fall.

³The World Skiing Invitational presented by Salomon has, in its relatively
short history become a stage for the world¹s premier new school skiers to
showcase the next level of their sport,² says Doug Perry, Festival Chairman.
³We will be working with our partners and the athletes over the next few
months to develop a 2004 event that continues to effectively raise the bar
of the sport.²

Last year¹s Invitational saw Jon Olsson and Tanner Hall battle it out for
Salomon Big Air supremacy with Olsson narrowly scoring higher to take first
place. Greg Tuffelmire and Sarah Burke each took top spot at the Salomon
Superpipe.

The World Skiing Invitational presented by Salomon is part of Whistler¹s 9th
annual TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival, a 10-day, 240 hour, 14,400
minute ³blast of rock and awe² (Vancouver Sun). Produced by Whistler-based
