Copper Mountain, Colo. (Ski Press)-Snow guns are blowing at Colorado ski resorts amidst predictions that it may only be a matter of hours before the real stuff starts falling.
The National Weather Service predicted a cold front will start moving in today bringing the possibility of snow over the next four days.
Copper Mountain, Loveland and Keystone have already started making snow as a result of the cooler temperatures. Copper has said the area will open Nov. 3. Loveland and Keystone traditionally battle it out for the earliest opening date each season, with Keystone predicting it will open Oct. 26, while Loveland expects to open between Oct. 16 and Oct. 22.
