J.P. Auclair is largely recognized as a pioneer in the freeski world both in the terrain parks and the backcountry. His long list of accomplishments and accolades as a leader within the sport, make him the ideal athlete to represent Orage as it enters its period of globalization. “I’m really stoked to be working with Orage,” says Auclair. “When I talked to a few people who work there I noticed that even though the company is getting bigger, they still run Orage like a small business. SUCCESS IN U.S. MARKET POSITIONS EUROPEAN GROWTH PLANS

After 13 years of success throughout Canada, Orage entered the U.S. marketplace for the 2000/01 season. Now in its third year, Orage has established itself as a formidable
player within the freeski apparel market, by offering an innovative product that has core acceptance and mass appeal. U.S. General Manager, Amy Carey Comments, “Orage is unique in that everything we do we try to think outside of the box.” “The product is the best marketing tool we have because the quality and innovative characteristics speak for themselves.”

Orage’s distribution will head “across the pond” this season as it launches the 2004 line during ISPO Winter 04 in Munich, Germany. Orage’s entrance into the European market signifies a new era for Coalision and the future of freeskiing and skiing as a lifestyle throughout the world.
