The past Saturday Dec 3rd, Island Lake ran it's first cat of the season.  A great early season snowpack has filled in the terrain and allowed roads to be built in many places.  This is all a couple weeks ahead of schedule for both road building and skiing.  With 150 cm base and some nice dry blower pow, conditions are great!  Welcome back La Nina. Island Lake Catskiing
