The last few week in Fernie have been spectacular. The snow in the alpine has finally melted and the wildflowers are in full bloom. Trails like The Spineback, Tamarack, Mt Baldy and the Old Growth are in top shape. We have the best maintained and signed trail in the Elk Valley up here at Island Lake Lodge. The Bear Lodge patio is the perfect place to end your hike with a cold beer. Come on up!
