It was the end of the road for Whistler Mountain for the 2009-2010 winter season. It was a great day. The bad weather stayed away and the sun was breaking through the clouds that did show up. Whistler still having over a three meter base, I had some of the best spring skiing up there in years. Skied West Bowl, The Cirque, Sun Bowl and other high alpine runs and the snow had a bit of a dust on crust feeling mixed in with some slush. But I didn’t hit one rock.

The Last Day of Whistler Mt. and the Telus Festival
Submitted by crystal_rose_lee on Sun, 2010-04-25 21:20The Start List is in for Day 1 of the Freeskiing World Tour Championships in Snowbird, UT
Submitted by crystal_rose_lee on Fri, 2010-03-19 21:28Wow...its going to be the big show tomorrow and I'm not just talking about the skiing. There are going to have 107 athletes running tomorrow. That is a lot. 24 women, 83 men. That is just crazy. Really nothing can go wrong, especially weather. There can be no weather holds tomorrow. There are going to be deep cuts to both the men's and woman's fields for the Day 2. MSI (the production crew) and the Judges will have their hands full tomorrow. I wish them luck too.

Day 1 done...Day 2 = Heli!
Submitted by crystal_rose_lee on Sat, 2010-01-09 12:00Hey All!
Sorry for my late blog about the comp. Day 1 went off. Big lines, big airs, big smiles and big cuts. 27 people got to move on. The biggest cut. They say it was because of the heli that is involved. They can't take the "normal" cut. Seven Ladies, twenty men. I was lucky enough to be on the cut line, I was eighth. So I'm bummed, but as you do...
But today, Saturday the day of the finals...and its stormy = no heli. So today is a weather day, wait for tomorrow. Pow skiing!
