I'm reminded of why I hate Sunshine
I went to Sunshine, thinking since Angel is open it would be at least decent. But no, there were rocks and ice everywhere on the hill and IDIOTIC people.
I'm not great, I've only been riding for about a year, and I saw this girl who kept falling and was all over the place. It was on a narrow run on Wolverine, so I stopped to let her get ahead of me. I'd see her stop and rest off to the side so I'd go...as soon as I got ahead of her she'd go whipping by me, coming so close she'd brush my jacket and then freak out and fall over. FOUR TIMES. 3 times I almost ran over her because she fell right in front of me. And every time I would let her get ahead or wait for her to stop to pass her, just so she wouldn't put us both in the hospital. Why couldn't she do the same?
Then, there were 3 skiers standing across the hill, tip to tip, so there was hardly any room to get by on a board. I had to stop and wait for one of them to move...but I had to stop and wait before they smartened up enough to move out of the way.
Even if there were no stupid people, there were tons of rocks and ice everywhere. I've never had an amazing day at Sunshine and I'd have to jot this one down as one of my worst.

Well every one has to start some where right? Maybe she says the same thing about you. You almost ran over her because she fell infront of you....sounds like some of the blame is from you too for crowding her, knowing that she (and you) are at a beginer level. Not trying to place blame on you, just offering up a different perspective. Sunshine probably attracts more noobs due to the abundance of flat terrain. You have to know where to go there to get the good stuff and stay away from the gorbs. Errr....you're right though, the place blows. No one should go there. That's why weekdays are for resorts and weekends are for back country ;)

Trust me, if I was waiting for her to pass I would have made sure the clothesline her so she couldn't do any more damage. If I could have gotten ahead of her I would have. I just can't wait for more lifts at Louise to open up. I've encountered more idiots at Sunshine than anywhere else. And you're right, boris, why the hell would they charge full price when there are rocks everywhere and minimal runs open?

So instead of doing the same thing over and over why didn't you try something different? Such as just going ahead and not waiting for her to pass?? You know what they say about people that do the same thing over and over expecting different results don't you ;) Sunshine is a pretty good place to go...you just have to know what areas to stay away from. Anywhere you go you are going to get fuck tards doing stupid thing. The key here is to stay off the busiest green runs. Just the other day there was a large group of boarders congesting the entrance to a run....all across the slope...I had to run the fuckers board over to get by. Hopefully it snows more, I am getting sick of ptexing my skis.
