So much snow, we are opening early!
Another season, another epic start. The resort is buried today. We have received about 60 cms in the last 24 hrs and it is still snowing! Total accumulation is over 250 cms, with a base of 140 cms. Freezing levels should stay below 900 metres...our base area is at 1200 metres. We will open early on Sat, Dec 8th and Sun the 9th, close Mon - Thursday, then open Friday, Dec 14th with full operations. Keep in mind that there is a lot of work to do and some staff will still be in training mode opening weekend. Your patience would be appreciated. If you have purchased a pass, pick it up before opening day. Day tickets are also available at the B.C. Visitors Centre up on the highway coming into Golden.
