my dreams of east coast pow got skunked when it rained 2 days into my trip to quebec. i got one day in on a large, well know ski hill that i never ride out there. and now i remember why. it sucks! and i got in trouble from the ski patrol for riding in the trees. super lame. he even radio-ed down to the chair to not let me on, so i had to hike out of that side of the mtn. such a gay hill. they were even written up lately in a ski mag about how cool they were about tree skiing. LIES.

it then rained so i didn't get to ride at jay or orford (my old home mtns) so i mostly hung out at our place and went solo canoeing and built my little front yard kicker. very good times. winter canoeing is a little more stressful than summer in that if you're crossing to the island or across bays and for some reason i tip for the first time ever, pretty much dead. and there's icebergs...

mostly canoed, alot. then came back to BC to more fresh snow. to end the year i went sledding with dave short and phil tifo to take some shots. powderific. and to start it off went riding with dave basterachea and vanessa stark on thie hill. the trees were much better here.
