ahhh japan

<p>ahhh japan. its pretty much what you'd expect. neon lights, electronics, vending machines... except we were in a little town called takayama which is supposedly known as the "town that time forgot" ie a lot of old school japan. it was pretty sweet. minus the hour long bus ride to the hill.<br /><br />as for the comp. well, we didn't ride much pipe. it was snowing on the contest day (the only day where the pipe was good). i placed 4th, missing the podium by less than a point. then it started DUMPING. our last day there was pretty EPIC. sunny,2 feet of fresh. barely anyone rides trees...<br /><br /> no pipe footage this week since we didn't film any, there is some video from our uhhh "training" days. only a few stills from the deep pow day, taken on the fly. can't stop on a day like that one.<br /><br />hopefully have some footage from the calgary world cup soon. ended up 5th there. currently in utah for the TTR world superpipe championships. sunny and a sick 22 foot pipe! yeah...<br /><br />jl </p><br /><br /><div id="jl_japan_08"><br />Footage in Japan 08<br /><p><br />Flash Player required to view trailer.<br /></p><br /><p><a href="http://www.untrackedlines.com/?q=node/213">read more</a></p>
