<div><br />I got a call from the Matchstick head quarters late last week. Axl, the Cable Cam Guru was coming to town, and they wanted to know if we could arrange a shoot up on the mountain. After some coordination & determination, we were able to get them to set up in the Showcase Showdown pipe area.<br /><br /> <br /></div><br /><div><br />Day 1 was pretty uneventful. It involved a lot of technical work. Near the end of the day, the camera was finally ready to be tested on this 300 metre long cord that streched from the top of the pipe to the middle section. I had no idea how impressive this contraption was until I saw it move before my very own eyes. Something sort of like R2-D2 from Star Wars. Red Bull's Sean Pettit was there to test out the jump. It didn't take long for him to let us know that the pipe was in dire need of proper grooming. Some calls were made, and we were able to pull one of our best pipe groomers in to take care of it.</p><br /><p><a href="http://www.untrackedlines.com/?q=node/214">read more</a></p>
