Eagle Pass Heli

It's been another couple great weeks of weather in B.C. On April 1st I was shooting for next years Sledneacks film in the Brandywine area. Things have really been stepped up this year and I spotted the perfect line. About 300 verticle feet of powder turns leading up to about a 80 foot cliff. The snow was amazing but 2 turns before the cliff it turned to fast crusty snow and I had no option but to roll with it and send the cliff at speed. The boys figure it turned into about a 120 footer from take off to landing. The snow was pretty firm on landing and I compression fractured my T9 and 10.

Luckily it was a stable fracture and the doctor told me that I can keep skiing but no airs. So the next day I was off with Paul Morrison on a skiing mag assignment at Eagle Pass heli near Revekelstoke. The weather has been great with 2 days of sun and awesome snow. The back is sore but manageable. Hope it keeps feellin ok as I'm off to AK in 6 days.
