Dave Treadway's Favorite Time of Year

<p><br />This is my favorite time of year to be in Whistler. Lines are filled in, snowpack is stable, liftlines are short, and we get long chunks of high preasure. This year is un-normal to what I've seen in that it has stayed cold, so the snow quality is all time. Over the past 2 weeks I've been able to ski a lot of things on and off the resort that I've always wanted to do. I've learned a lot in seeing how other skiers view this time of year as a time to go on missions and get things done. I ran into two guys named Jack and John up in the mountains who seemed to be so driven to get as much out of life as possible, and not just play around.
