Wednesday we walked. Stocking firewood in a local backcountry cabin was our charge. Snow fell as we bucked up deadfall around the cabin and stacked it in the dry subterranean. An exercise in good backcountry karma, for whoever stays in between it’s four walls, or just stop’s by to warm shivering limbs by the fire.

It would seem that when Andreas Fransson sets out for two weeks of ski touring in the Lygen Alps in Norway, he and his shred partner Morgan Salen do it differently than most skiers.
