Hey people.

Just curious as to how everyones sleds are holding up. Thinking this is the year i'll be buying as there are several good deals to be had out there. Partial to the M8's and Summit's. Went out with a friend last year and I am hooked. Need to makeit happen.

A few questions:

Why are there soo many brand new non current 2009 m1000's for sale? should this be an option? (pigeon?)

LID, hows the xp and nytro treating you two?

where is everyone living and riding these days?

Looking forward to it.

09 XP has been dynamite, and

09 XP has been dynamite, and the newer ones (2011) handle better and have a track with better float (2012).  I haven't been on a sled that rides as naturally when tandeming, but it doesn't like crashing into trees, especially right after you make fun of Pigeon for crashing into a tree.  There seem to be some good prices on leftover new ones as well if you look around.  Last year a buddy got a leftover 09 for 10500 brand new.  08's had some problems but hold up well after certain parts are replaced or the clutches properly aligned.  The old style (pre 04 Rev) can't even come close to the newer ones in the deep snow and we pretty much just use those for tandems once there is a trail packed in with the newer sleds.

A friend of mine was killing it with a 2011 m8 last winter, those things have a ton of power.

The Nytro (stock) is still doing what it does best, running bulletproof.  Quite a bit heavier, not quite as manouverable, and a bit of a pig in the deep trees, but always starts.  Still really fun to ride as long as you're not trying to ride technical stuff, uphill, in the super deep.  AND I only changed out the original belt last year because I thought I should, it never frayed.  No blowing belts and no 60buck oil is nice, just gas and go.  My only real complaint is the headlight is kind of low in the front and gets packed over with snow when rooping in armpit deep pow late in the evening.

Those who like it, like it a lot.

I've been riding the same 06

I've been riding the same 06 ski doo for several years. It's treated me real nice and done everything I've ever asked of it. I'm still thinking about selling it this year though. Might be time for an upgrade.

-The old revs have bad headlights too. Didn't really notice it till a midnight roop sesh last season in deep pow. The XP's lights are way higher and don't get burried as badly.

07 polaris dragon

I've been snow-mo-boarding now for 4 years going on 5 with my 07 dragon 155 700cc, it has been really reliable and none of them have exploded like the 800 or 900.  It was the best of the best in 07 IMHO. then the xp came out in 08 and ended it's rein.  I'd get an knight rider or CFR rack, cross carrying sucks.  I might try to get a 10 or 11 cat if mine sells in the next couple months,

Let me know if anyone on here ever wants extra riding partners, alot of my buddies are having kids now so they go less and less if at all, so I sometimes get stranded and it sucks.  Plus it's always good to make new shred buddies

Cheers
