Getting the F$#& out of dodge and heading towards the surf in the Fall is the absolute BEST way to make winter show up a little sooner. Instead of doing 360's on your bed with your new skis on, you could be dodging heaving lips and trying your hand at the hardest sport in the world for a month or so. Then you get back to North America and BOOM . . . winter's here. It's kinda like time travel, man.
